Yesterday, i went mid valley with my friends and had a movie. While, we was walking somewhere; there are few people come and ask for direction. They were whites people but dunno where they from. So they asked us, we couldn't understand it they english was totally different. We replied "I dun understand wat u saying" then they reaction was blurr HAR!!!?? After that we said it again we dun understand and YES they understand us. So, they were said it again wat they said just now. So we would try to LISTENING it properly. Finally, we know wat are they saying about and show direction to them.
From here, i know that we first of all we are hearing wat whites ppl saying about. Hence, we couldnt understand because their way of talking english is different. Later on, our mind just automatically will be make more effort to interpreted the information. Which means, we could know wat are they saying after we saying it the second time. We are listening to them wat they are saying. In HUMAN COM, i learn that listening and hearing is physically same but listening have to make an effort to listen and hearing is not. Its also hearing might to remember it the information whereas listening can.
